Dancing Images was a study in collaboration
with Ann Marion to develop an interactive stage set for
the Joffrey Ballet, New York City.
Entertainment applications of this technology
could be developed through this ability to simulate a
wide range of real or fantasy environments with almost
infinite possibilities of scale and extent. The user can
be immersed in a 360-degree fantasy adventure game as
easily as he or she can viscerally explore a virtual 3D
model of the solar system or use a three-dimensional paint
system to create virtual environments for others to explore.
